Estimados amigos:
I am sending a final wave of emails-- asking you to take a look if you haven't or pass this on to a friend who might be interested. Some have asked me to remind them again: I'm doing that now-- and I may be inadvertently sending this a second time to others. Thank you to those who have responded-- I have received a great deal of commentary and sales that have provided a wonderful piece of time to just focus on work. While this is a compendium of pieces that spans many years-- I am hoping to have a much smaller but up-to-date body of work for you to look at next year.

First Annual Figurative Art Blowout

Dear friends, acquaintances, and prospective clients:

I am taking this opportunity to quickly explain the purpose of this Blogsite:

as a place for me to show the variety of my figurative

pieces-- offering a group of 100 items for sale--

for a thirty day period. since my figurative works

are not represented in my gallery spaces-- and

they seem to multiply with a life of their own-- i

would like to lower my inventory of work and

"expose myself," so to speak, to those interested

in my painting, prints, collage, and whathaveyou

based on the figure. many of these were born out

of the "south second street figure group" that

has met for many years-- and continues to meet

in a variety of locations. also there is a significant

portion of work that was created while traveling in

latin america. i now am working as a "full time

artist" and learning on a daily basis about- saving

space, representing myself more broadly, and

figuring out how to finance the next phases of

living this life.

i am pricing all pieces at one to three hundred

dollars: i will deliver the work if within a

reasonable distance-- or in missoula. otherwise a

ten dollar handling fee will apply. if the piece is

large, then will negotiate shipping and handling

with prospective buyer. all inquiries can be

i will post in four groups of about 25 images in each

group-- with this description placed between the groups.

I expect this is going to take about four or five days to

have all images in place. Please keep revisiting the
blog-- as it should be changing daily for a while with the
addition of new pieces. i should also point out that my work is
often signed on the back-- especially if it is more recent work
that is characterized by heavy impasto.

i am excited to disperse this work to the

public/patrons- as this is an important part of my

artistic endeavor/life that is not often seen in this

country. i thank you in advance!! d
